Robbie Keane impressed for the LA Galaxy again last night

Republic of Ireland skipper scored his 15th goal of the season and conjured his 14th assist of the campaign too.

ROBBIE KEANE INSPIRED the LA Galaxy to a 2-1 win over Dallas on Sunday, moving the franchise level on points with Seattle at the top of the Western Conference.

With the visitors having taken the lead through Blas Perez shortly after the hour mark, the Galaxy responded instantly with Keane popping up with the equaliser inside sixty seconds.

And with six minutes to go, Keane proved instrumental once again. This time he turned provider, sending in an inch-perfect cross for Alan Gordon to head home.

It was Keane’s 15th goal of the season (nine behind current top-scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips) while the setup for Gordon’s winner was his 14th assist (one behind current leader Landon Donovan).
