INTER MILAN HAVE started to turn a disastrous season around since the arrival of former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.
Back in November, the Italian returned to the club where he won three Scudetti and in recent weeks the Nerazzurri have earned draws with champions Juventus and third-placed Lazio.
This afternoon, they faced Genoa at home and handed new loan signing Lukas Podolski his debut while fellow recent arrival Xherdan Shaqiri was named on the bench.
And while Mancini will be pleased with the 3-1 win, he understandably wasn’t too chuffed after taking a clearance from his own player Marco Andreolli to the face.
