Setanta Sports set for Saturday showdowns

The broadcaster announced its 2013 Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues schedule today.

SETANTA SPORTS HAVE announced that they will broadcast 15 games during February and March in the 2013 Allianz Leagues.

The broadcaster launched it’s coverage for this year’s competitions today in Dublin.

There will be 12 Gaelic football games screened live – ten in Division 1 and two in Division 2.

While there will be three hurling matches covered live – one in Division 1A and two in Division 1B.

Members of the last three All-Ireland winning teams – Donegal’s Eamonn McGee, Dublin’s Michael Darragh MacAuley and Cork’s Aidan Walsh – were present for the event.

The trio will be in action in Croke Park on Saturday week, February 2nd, for the opening games of the spring schedule as Kildare face Donegal and Dublin meet Cork in clashes in Division 1.

Newstalk’s Off The Ball anchor Eoin McDevitt will present Setanta’s coverage, with analysis from former Kerry All-Ireland winning duo Darragh Ó Sé and Seamus Moynihan, and Dublin’s Senan Connell.
