Tears of joy from Shane O'Donnell's brother as he watches hat-trick performance from Israel

Sometimes a picture says it all.

THERE’S A LOT goes unsaid between brothers sometimes, but if Clare’s hat-trick hero Shane O’Donnell ever wonders what his All-Ireland final display means to his family, this picture sums it up.

The young Éire Óg forward was a late addition to the Banner’s starting side yesterday but went on to hit three goals which earned him the man-of-the-match award.

Thousands of miles away in Israel, his brother Oisín — who is working for an engineering firm and couldn’t make it back — was watching with visible pride.
