Sligo Rovers could have done with Mr Plow at this morning's pre-season training

Manager Owen Heary and his players got the shovels out so the first session back could go ahead.

LIKE MANY LEAGUE of Ireland clubs, Sligo Rovers are back in pre-season training this week with the new campaign a little under two months away.

However, with heavy snow fall around the country last night, manager Owen Heary, some of his management team and a couple of players were out clearing the training pitch at Sean Fallon Centre this morning.

If only the Bit O’Red had this guy lend a hand…

Thankfully, they managed to create a lane along the sideline and eased the players back into it with some short sprints.
