THREE MEN ARE due before court in Dublin this afternoon – charged in connection with a €1 million seizure of herbal cannabis.

The drugs haul was found in a consignment of soap that originated from Spain.

It was seized as part of an operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service and the gardaí yesterday.

Gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau are heading up the investigation.

The three Irish men arrested yesterday, who are aged between 24 and 34, have been held for questioning at Mountjoy and Store Street stations.

They’re due to appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Parkgate Street.
