Scottish teenager runs from his own half to score sensational individual goal

Remarkably, it’s Stephen Mallan’s first in senior football.

18-YEAR-OLD Stephan Mallan was making just his fifth competitive appearance in St Mirren’s first team when they defeated Dundee 3-1 at Dens Park on Saturday.

With his side leading 1-0 in the 68th minute, the Scottish midfielder won possession in his own half before dancing his way past three challenges with mesmeric footwork.

Upon reaching the opposing box, Mallan rifled the ball into the bottom corner for the type of goal most only dream of scoring. If that wasn’t impressive enough, it was his first in senior football.

Keep an eye out for this lad.
