Poll: Who should be the 2013 Allstar football goalkeeper?

Stephen Cluxton, Robert Hennelly and Rory Beggan are in the running.

THE GAA/GPA Football Allstar awards for the 2013 season are set to be announced next week at a banquet in Croke Park on Friday November 8th.

The nominees for the awards sponsored by Opel were announced in early October and we want to know who you think should be honoured for their 2013 exploits.

We start today with the three nominees for the position of goalkeeper.

This year’s All-Ireland winning captain Stephen Cluxton is in the frame with the Parnells club man hoping to win his fifth award after being previously honoured for his exploits in 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2011.

Mayo’s Robert Hennelly and Monaghan’s Rory Beggan are the players who will be challenging the Dublin man for the award. Neither Hennelly or Beggan has previously won an Allstar.

Poll Results:

Robert Hennelly (Mayo) (961)
Rory Beggan (Monaghan) (506)
Stephen Cluxton (Dublin) (459)
