United fans sceptical despite Glazer debt announcement

In Pictures: Manchester United’s American owners say they’ll settle up on Monday. After years of colourful protest however, the Stretford End wants more answers.

MANCHESTER UNITED SUPPORTERS have met this morning’s announcement that the Glazer family intend to pay off £220m debt by the end of the month with initial scepticism.

Old Trafford fan groups have challenged United’s owners to come clean about their intentions.
