Team news: Luke Fitzgerald back in the fold for Leinster

Three of Ireland’s provinces are in Rabo Pro12 action tomorrow night and Luke Fitzgerald will make a return from injury.

LUKE FITZGERALD WILL return to the Leinster line-up after he was handed the fullback jersey with today’s announcement of the team to face Aironi.

The Ireland and Lions back will be making his first appearance for the province this year after missing out two months with a stubborn neck and back injury.

Fitzgerald’s return has allowed Isa Nacewa to drop to the bench and enjoy a rest of sorts.

The team continues to look strong with Shane Jennings captaining the side from a pack containing Richardt Strauss, Devin Toner and Kevin McLaughlin.

Elsewhere, Brian McLaughlin has named his Ulster side to host Edinburgh. Centre, nevin Spence has been added to the injury list with a hand injury so Paddy Wallace will be partnered by Ian Whitten.

Whitten moves in from the wing to allow a recall for Adam D’Arcy and Pedrie Wannenburg is moved to flanker as Chris Henry will travel to Paris with Declan Kidney’s Ireland squad.

Connacht will hand a debut to new signing, Peter Borlase, a recent arrival from Munster. Eric Elwoods travelling line-up will be without injured fly-half, Niall O’Connor. Miah Nikora will fill the pivot position which will be handed over to Dan Parks next season.
