Teenager shot in the legs by masked men

The 17-year-old was rushed to hospital for treatment after three men forced their way into a house last night and attacked him.

POLICE IN BELFAST are appealing for information after a 17-year-old was shot in the legs in the west of the city.

The paramilitary style attack happened in Monagh Drive at around 9.20pm last night.

A number of masked men forced their way into a house in the area and shot a 17-year old-male, according to the PSNI

He was taken to hospital for treatment for three gunshot wounds to his legs.

The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact CID at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101 or via the independent charity Crimestoppers.
