Tevez set to return for City against Chelsea

City have struggled for goals recently, and may call on the controversial Argentinian for help.

CONTROVERSIAL MAN CITY striker Carlos Tevez will be named on the substitutes bench against Chelsea tomorrow night, according to reports.

Tevez has been out of action since refusing to come on as a substitute in a Champions League clash against Bayern Munich last September.

Mancini has previously hinted the star would return for this crucial fixture.

Tevez is understood to have trained well and will become part of a City squad whose strikers have struggled for goals of late.

They lost their most recent league game against Swansea, leaving them four points behind leaders Man United.

Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott are both injury doubts ahead of the game.
