1. #NOVEMBER INTERNATIONALS After Saturday’s comprehensive win over Fiji in Limerick, the focus now turns to Saturday’s showdown against old rivals Argentina at Lansdowne Road. And veteran international Donncha O’Callaghan admits ‘he needed’ that win over the visitors to Thomond Park.

2. #GAA It was a busy day of club action throughout the country yesterday. Castlehaven made hard work of getting past Stradbally of Waterford and will now meet Dr Crokes who had Colm Cooper score eight points against Clonmel Commercials yesterday. Elsewhere there was wins for Crossmaglen and Kilcoo while St Thomas shocked Loughrea in the Galway hurling decider.

3. #PREMIER LEAGUE Sunderland registered their first Premier League away win since February and ended a run of five games without victory by overcoming 10-man Fulham 3-1 on Sunday.

Brede Hangeland was sent off for Fulham after half an hour, but although Steven Fletcher’s opener for the visitors was cancelled out by Mladen Petric, goals from Carlos Cuellar and Stephane Sessegnon gave Sunderland the win.

4. #PRO12 A late converted penalty try ensured Ulster maintained their 100% record under Mark Anscombe, as it decided a frenetic 25-27 win over Zebre in the RaboDirect Pro12 yesterday. Here’s how it happened.
