TIGER WOODS IS currently 16 shots off leader Sergio Garcia in the World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
The American golfer lies tied for 36th position as his driving game continues to let him down. Out for the third round of the competition, Woods hit a birdie on the fifth hole, but immediately followed that with a double bogey on the par four sixth.
Having failed to find the fairway on six, Woods was forced to locate his ball in the rough, and one cameraman was hot on the 38-year-old’s heels as he attempted a short practice swing.
Realising that he was being closely pursued, Woods remarked, “Guys, give me a little fucking space.” Sky Sports apologised for the language on mid-afternoon television and Woods has been criticised by many fans on Twitter.
Woods has since added a bogey on 13.

Garcia holds the lead at 14-under par after excelling over the opening rounds and continuing his strong form today. Birdies on holes two, four and six have seen him extend his overnight advantage.
Rory McIlroy is tied for third at Firestone on nine-under par, with three birdies this afternoon being tempered by a bogey on hole 12.
