TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR CARETAKER boss Tim Sherwood has taken charge of his second game today and opted to start Emmanuel Adebayor up front alongside Roberto Soldado.
And despite falling behind to Southampton after Adam Lallana’s opener on 13 minutes, the pair have since combined excellently to draw the home side level.
Adebayor, previously frozen out by Andre Villas-Boas, played the Spaniard through before latching onto his cross with a flying volley on 26 minutes.

The second half saw Spurs go ahead through a Jos Hooiveld own goal but Lallana then teed up Rickie Lambert to make it 2-2.
However, Adebayor, with just one goal to his name this season before today, doubled his tally on 64 minutes. And the game ended 3-2 to Spurs.
