Toulon make light of doping claims with T-shirt range

Top 14 giants Toulon have come up with a novel way of making light of doping allegations made against the club.

TOULON HAVE POKED fun at what they call “unsubstantiated doping allegations” by launching a new line of T-shirts.

Earlier this month Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin confirmed an inquiry was started into pharmacists in the Toulon area and a possible “infringement of the code on medication sales”.

Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal subsequently rejected allegations of doping after claims the club’s players could have been illegally supplied with various substances.

The club have now further shown their derision with the T-shirts that have the slogan “Dopé(e) au RCT” branded on them.

A statement accompanying pictures of the clothing on Toulon’s website read: “Because it is well know that doping is an institution in Toulon, here are the T-shirts.

“For fans and players are on an equal footing in doping and can claim all together their love for doping.

“A snub to unsubstantiated doping allegations that have tarnished the image of our club lately.”
