Here’s what’s on TV3′s The GAA Show this week

More on THAT hurling semi-final, a look ahead to Cork v Donegal and even a bit of rugby chat.

Friday 6.30pm on 3e/Saturday 12.15am & 8.30am on TV3

THIS WEEK ON TV3′s The GAA Show Kieran McSweeney is joined by GAA President Liam O’Neill and Pat Nolan from the Irish Daily Mirror.

Top of the agenda will be the decision taken by Central Council to bring a motion to Congress next year that would allow the use of six GAA grounds by the IRFU, if they are succesful in bringing the 2023 or 2027 Rugby World Cup to Ireland.

Were those who warned that opening up Croke Park was the thin end of the wedge correct?  How is the move beneficial to the GAA?  Will it set a precedent that could see GAA grounds being used for other sports in the future?

They will also be looking ahead to this weekend’s All Ireland Football Final between Cork and Donegal.  We’ll be hearing from both camps as they prepare for the big game.  Can Cork break down the Ulster champions?  Or will Jim McGuinness’s side be able to overcome the 2010 All Ireland Champions?

There’ll be team news from both sides, the Panel Beaters will give their predictions for the big game,  and there will be a look back at last weekend’s fascinating All Ireland Hurling Semi Final between Tipperary and Kilkenny.

Jim McGuinness: “If we stagnated and we were just doing what we did last year, I don’t think it would be good enough.”
