U2 TOUR MANAGER Dennis Sheehan has died, aged 68.

Frontman Bono said in a statement that it was like ‘losing a family member’.

“We’re still taking it in,” he said.

He wasn’t just a legend in the music business, he was a legend in our band. He is irreplaceable.

Sheehan, who previously worked with Led Zeppelin and Lou Reed, was found in a Los Angeles hotel room early this morning, TMZ reports.

Police officials told the website that he is suspected to have died of a heart attack.
