Tommy Bowe on the wing for Ulster as Jackson takes over at 10

The northern province have made five changes to the team that beat Zebre last time out.

ULSTER HAVE CALLED on out-half Paddy Jackson and wing Tommy Bowe for tomorrow night’s trip to take on the Cardiff Blues in the Guinness Pro12 [KO 19.35], with both Ireland internationals making their first appearances of the season.

In total, the northern province have made five changes to the side that beat Zebre 33-13 last weekend, as the exciting Stuart Olding returns to partner Darren Cave in midfield.

Louis Ludik comes in at fullback, while South African compatriots Franco van der Merwe and Wiehahn Herbst are included up front.

Andrew Trimble retains his place out wide after a wonderful performance against Zebre, making up a threatening back three with Bowe and Ludik. Paul Marshall continues at scrum-half inside Jackson.

The back row of Nick Williams, Chris Henry and Robbie Diack is unchanged, while Dan Tuohy remains in the second row. Rory Best stays in the team as captain, with Andrew Warwick completing the front row.

Ireland internationals Rob Herring, Craig Gilroy and Roger Wilson feature on the bench, which is completed by Callum Black, Bronson Ross, Neil McComb, Michael Heaney and Ian Humphreys.
