WATCH: roof collapses over kids' ice-rink

The roof began to creak as a group of Slovakian children warmed up for hockey, and took little time to fall through.

FORTUNATELY, THE CHILDREN and adults who were having a quick puck-around on the ice here all managed to escape as the roof  collapsed above them.

The incident occured at a rink in the Slovakian town of Námestovo, near the Polish border, and the National Post has reported that former Montreal winger Richard Zednik was also present at the time. Zednik has confirmed that nobody was injured.

Close call.
