Oh, it's on... Westwood gets paired with McIlroy in Shanghai

The two golfers will be forced to team up amid an apparent row between the pair on Twitter.

RORY MCILROY HAS been paired with Lee Westwood for the forthcoming Shanghai Masters, amid a row between the two golfers on Twitter.

McIlroy unfollowed Westwood after the Englishman criticised McIlroy for moving to a different management company.

He lambasted McIlroy for what he adjudged to be a “bizarre decision”, following the star’s move away from Chubby Chandler’s company.

McIlroy also unfollowed Chandler following his move to Dublin-based company Horizon, which includes Graeme McDowell among its clients.

McIlroy and Westwood have been paired with China’s Zhang Lian-wei.

The tournament, which begins tomorrow, is also set to feature Padraig Harrington.

It features 30 competitors, and a prize fund of £1.25m will be given to the winner.
