British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BBC One, 9pm)

We’re right in the thick of awards season and just two weeks out from the Oscars. Tonight, BAFTAs will be handed out in a ceremony hosted by Stephen Fry. The Grand Budapest Hotel and Birdman lead the way, but who will emerge victorious? You’ll have to tune in and see. #BAFTAs

The Meaning of Life (RTÉ One, 10.30pm) 

This week, Gay Byrne chats with Irish boxer Barry McGuigan about the Troubles, his career and more. Unlikely to generate as much column inches as last week’s outing with Stephen Fry, but ought to be interesting nonetheless.

Everyone’s talking about… Kerry Condon

'Luck' Premiere - Los Angeles Matt Sayles Matt Sayles

Deadline is reporting that Irish actress Kerry Condon is in talks for a role in David Fincher’s HBO series Life On Video. The comedy is set in the world of the music video industry in the 1980s.

Condon, who hails from Tipperary, has previously starred in Luck and The Walking Dead. She was also previously reported to have secured a role in Better Call Saul.
