What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Poldark (BBC 1, 9pm)

It’s the penultimate episode and it’s slipping away from us SO FAST. The Cornish coast is looking a bit dodge, with Ross struggling to keep his smelting company going and he falls out with Francis over a family scandal. Sounds juicy, and the potential for a shirtless Aidan Turner is also very high.

Irish Pictorial Weekly (RTÉ 1, 9.30pm)

The satirical sketch show with some of Ireland’s finest comedians continues. Expect laughs at Irish society’s expense. The best kind of laughs.

The Sweeney (TV 3, 9pm)

Plan B, remember him…? Yes, what was that one song again? Said she love me, say no no no no noooo, something. Well, he’s in this action thriller with certified hardman Ray Winstone. Set on the mean streets of LDN, two cops try to catch a ruthless gang of armed robbers. It’s good, we promise.

Everyone is talking about… Magician Jamie Raven
