Ireland’s Lost Babies (RTÉ One, 10.15pm) 

If you missed it on BBC television it last night, this documentary by Martin Sixsmith (the journalist who brought Philomena Lee’s story to light) is airing again on RTÉ this evening. It focuses on the Irish Catholic Church’s role in the adoption trade of thousands of ‘illegitimate children’. #IrelandsLostChildren

The Gadget Buzz (TV3, 7.30pm) 

TXFM presenter Joe Donnelly joins Laura Wood, Keith Nolan and Georgie Gavin for this new show testing out all the new fangled yokes and thingies designed to make our lives easier. The first episode tries out outdoorsy and hiking-related gadgets. #TheGadgetBuzz

Everybody’s talking about… #True Detective

The rumour mill just keeps running on who’s going to be in the new series, but when will we find out?

TrueDetectiveRumors.com (yes, there’s a whole website) seems to think it will be mid October. Yesterday Malin Akerman, Jessica Biel and Rosario Dawson were all touted as being up for female roles. Meanwhile TrueDetectiveRumors.com notes that Elisabeth Moss and Rachel McAdams look to be out of the picture.
