5 rumoured Man United targets for next season

Burnley’s Michael Keane and others who are believed to be on the Red Devils’ shortlist.

1. Michael Keane

THE RED DEVILS are set to re-sign the 24-year-old £25m-rated Burnley defender, according to both the Times and the Daily Mail. The former Ireland underage international has made 41 appearances this season, in the process looking very much at home at Premier League level.

2. Gareth Bale

Spanish football expert Graham Hunter has suggested there is a significant chance that Bale will move back to the Premier League this summer, with Manchester United the favourites to sign him. Real and Isco in particular have impressed in the absence of Bale this season, and Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly one of the people calling for the Welsh superstar to be dropped for the Champions League final.

3. Antoine Griezmann

The Atletico Madrid forward has been heavily linked with a move to Man United, with the France international believed to have an £85 million release clause in his current contract, though Real Madrid are also thought to be contemplating a controversial move for the player.

4. Eric Dier

The Tottenham defender/defensive midfielder is believed to be on Manchester United’s wanted list. The Manchester Evening News report that he is rated at £40million. The 23-year-old has been an important figure as Tottenham secured their best-ever Premier League finish this season, making 52 appearances in all competitions (including internationals) since the start of the campaign.

5. Andrea Belotti

One of the lesser-known players being linked with Man United, the 23-year-old Italian international striker has impressed with 30 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions this season. According to the Manchester Evening News, the move for the Torino player will be more likely should Chelsea beat United to the signature of in-demand Everton star Romelu Lukaku.
