Another player out the door at Man United as Januzaj joins Dortmund

The Belgian attacked moves to the Bundesliga on a season-long loan move.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND HAVE signed Adnan Januzaj on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder burst onto the scene in 2013 but was a bit part player under Louis van Gaal last season. He has started two of the opening Premier League games this term, scoring the winner against Aston Villa, but didn’t feature in the defeat to Swansea on Sunday.

Belgian international Januzaj has been handed the number nine shirt by the Bundesliga outfit.

“Adnan is a highly gifted and technically gifted player who completes our attacking department,” said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.

Januzaj added: “Borussia Dortmund are a great club, the fans here are supposed to be really incredible. I want to achieve great things with the team.”

The move leaves Louis van Gaal even shorted on attacking options with just 24 hours until the transfer window closes.
