All-Ireland football qualifier round 3 and 4 draws to take place on Monday

The key qualifier showdowns are set to be held in the coming weeks.

THE ROUND 3 and 4 draws in the All-Ireland senior football championship will be broadcast next Monday morning on RTE Radio 1′s Morning Ireland programme at 8.30am.

The Round 3 draw will include all the winners of the eight Round 2 games – four of which took place last weekend and four of which take place tomorrow evening.

Galway, Tyrone, Laois and Derry triumphed in last weekend’s games. They will be joined in the draw by the winners of the games between Kildare and Louth, Leitrim and Armagh, Longford and Wexford, and Cavan and Fermanagh.

The first team out will have home advantage and these games will be played on Saturday July 20th. Each of the Round 3 pairings will then be drawn to play a beaten provincial finalist in Round 4.

These teams will be in a seperate bowl with Cork, who lost last Sunday’s Munster final, the only confirmed side in Round 4.

The losers of Sunday’s Leinster final between Dublin and Meath will join them along with the losers of Sunday week’s Connacht final (Mayo v London) and Ulster decider (Donegal v Monaghan).

These Round 4 games will be played on the weekend of July 27th/28th and the venues will be arranged by the CCCC.
