Bohemians capture the mood of the nation on a momentous day for Ireland

It’s a ‘Yes’ vote from the League of Ireland club.

THE NATION WENT to the polls yesterday and the indications are that Ireland has voted ‘Yes’ to same-sex marriage.

With the citizens of Ireland on the verge of becoming the first in the world to pass a referendum on the matter, one of the country’s biggest football clubs has made its feelings known this morning.

To welcome the expected outcome, Bohemians tweeted an image of a rainbow appearing over the Tramway End at their Dalymount Park home, with the message: “Somewhere… over the rainBohs. Good morning equal Ireland.”

‘We’re a small nation so you want to make the pool of players as wide as you can’

‘I didn’t get a fair crack but I now have to pick up the pieces and prove myself again’
