There's an absolutely massive game in the Bundesliga on Saturday night

Dortmund are five points behind leaders Bayern as the bitter rivals clash in hugely-anticipated fixture.

BAYERN’S MIDWEEK LOSS to Mainz opened a door for Borussia Dortmund and Thomas Tuchel’s side had little hesitation in walking through.

Dortmund’s victory over Darmstadt cut the Bavarians’ lead at the top of the Bundesliga to just five points. But it gets better…the two teams face each other on Saturday evening in a mouth-watering and perfectly-timed fixture.

On current form, the pretenders are the best team in the league – winning eight of their last ten games and losing just once.

But Bayern have the edge in recent encounters.

In October, Dortmund were humiliated at the Allianz and lost 5-1 with three of those goals scored by ex-players Robert Lewandowski and Mario Goetze.

August 2014 was the last time Dortmund got the better of their bitter rivals in the league though they did edge a Cup semi-final on penalties last April.

Kick-off at Signal Iduna Park is 5.30.

It’s 20 years since MLS began but who were the high-profile players back then?

One of the greatest footballers of all time is facing huge questions about possible corruption
