PAT’S FAN WENDELL Pierce is ready for the Saints to end their FAI Cup famine.

Pierce, best known for his role as Detective Bunk Moreland on ‘The Wire’, revealed last year that he is a proud Supersaint.

Pat’s face Derry City in the Aviva Stadium decider on Sunday hoping to end their 53-year wait in the competition and break a losing streak of seven straight finals.

The Bunk tweeted his support this afternoon and proved that he’s no bandwagoner, using the hashtag #WeMakeOurOwnHistory — a reference to a recent quote from manager Liam Buckley.
