BY NOW YOU’RE well used to cars and cash being the prize on offer for golfers who manage a hole-in-one on the European Tour.

However, this may be the first time the prize has allowed competitors to dig a hole of their own.

During this week’s China Open, sponsors Volvo are giving away a mini-digger or — to give it it’s proper title — a compact excavator.
