Cork announce U21 football side to face Roscommon in All-Ireland semi-final

There’s no changes to the Rebels side for Saturday’s clash in Portlaoise.

CORK HAVE NAMED an unchanged side for Saturday’s Cadbury All-Ireland U21 football semi-final against Roscommon in Portlaoise.

Manager Sean Hayes has kept faith with the side that saw off Tipperary in last week’s Munster final. Killian McIntyre, David Harrington, Kevin Kavanagh, Sam Ryan and Darragh Murphy all came on as substitutes during that game and have to be content with places on the bench again.

There are seven survivors from Cork’s All-Ireland U21 semi-final appearance last year when they pipped Cavan by a point in Portlaoise. Full-back Conor Dorman, wing-back Brian O’Driscoll, midfielder Ian Maguire, centre-forward Mark Sugrue, wing-forward Sean Kiely and corner-forwards Dan MacEoin and Alan Cadogan all started in that game.

Injuries continue to rule out panel members Cathal Vaughan, Dylan Quinn and Sam Oakes from challenging for starting places.
