David Beckham revives classic Del Boy fall in Only Fools and Horses skit

The former Manchester United and England footballer appeared with David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst in the BBC video.

DAVID BECKHAM DID his level best to replace the late, loveable Trigger [played by Roger Lloyd-Pack] as he starred in an Only Fools and Horses skit for Sports Relief this evening.

The former England footballer appeared as himself as Del Boy [David Jason] and Rodney [Nicholas Lyndhurst] flogged ‘Golden Balls’ boxers down at the Peckham markets.

Del Boy mistakenly called Beckham’s eldest son ‘Brookside’ before the man himself stepped in and introduced himself. The trio were soon reunited around the corner at a greasy spoon café where Beckham offered Rodney some modelling advice and was called a “tart” in return.

Upon making their way back around to the stalls, Beckham was accosted by an autograph-hunting rapscallion as he leaned on a trolley on fruit. He signed the autograph and went to resume his spot but the trolley had moved and the classic Del Boy bar fall was revamped for the 21st century.

We will pop a video clip up as soon as possible. However, while we are all here, let us relive the comic glory of the original Del Boy fall:
