Will this happen?

Paulinho set for Tottenham move: It’s been confirmed that the Brazil international will leave Corinthians, with Tottenham set to sign the 24-year-old midfielder.

Samba making Anzhi return: Christopher Samba will return to Russia, after it was confirmed that Anzhi and QPR had agreed on a £12m deal for the defender – just £500,000 less than Harry Redknapp’s side originally spent on the player in January.

Liverpool to confirm Toure’s signature: While a deal has been arranged for a while now, Toure is expected to officially sign a two-year contract today, as the club’s players return for pre-season training.

Will this happen?

Chelsea prepared to part with Torres: The London club are reportedly willing to let the Spanish striker leave, as they step up their bid to replace him with AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy, who is said to be worth roughly £30m.

David Luiz to Bayern: Despite often receiving criticism from pundits last year, the Chelsea defender is said to be heavily in demand, with Bayern Munich and Barcelona both understood to be vying for his signature.

Will this happen?

Chelsea interested in Wayne Rooney: Possibly depending on whether or not they buy El Shaarawy, Chelsea are reportedly considering a £20m bid for Rooney, with his future at Old Trafford to be discussed today.

Chelsea bid for Cavani rejected: As if they weren’t busy enough already, Jose Mourinho’s side have also had a £54m bid for Napoli’s in-demand Uruguayan striker rejected.

Irish deal of the day

Blackburn are the latest club to be linked with free agent Richard Dunne, though they are understood to be only willing to offer the injury-prone defender a one-year deal.
