Should Diarmuid Connolly have been sent-off for this Leinster final flashpoint?

Connolly dragged James Dolan to the ground after the latter ruffled the Dublin forward’s hair.

WESTMEATH HAVE FRUSTRATED Dublin in the first-half of the Leinster SFC final in Croke Park.

Dublin take a narrow 0-7 to 0-6 lead into the break in a game that’s very much in the balance. Dublin were 100/1 favourites before throw-in.

One incident that highlighted Dublin’s frustration was this incident between James Dolan and Diarmuid Connolly.

Connolly had just fouled Dolan for a close-range free for Westmeath when this incident sparked a melee.

Connolly responded in kind after Dolan brushed his hair by dragging the Westmeath defender to the ground. Both players were yellow carded for their troubles.

What do you think? Should Connolly have been sent-off?
