THE FIRST U21 silverware of the season will be handed out this week while the final round of the Allianz football league also takes place.
Dublin and Meath head to Portlaoise tomorrow night to square off in this year’s Leinster U21 football final. Dublin are chasing their fourth title in six years in this grade while Meath last won at this level in 2001.
The Ulster U21 football semi-finals also take place on Wednesday with Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal and Armagh all battling it out.
There’s also five finals down for decision in the Masita Post-Primary All-Ireland schools championships this weekend.
And then on Sunday the promotion and relegation issues will be finally sorted out in the four divisions of the Allianz football league. There are also finals in the lower tiers of the hurling league.
