IT WAS THE worst night in England’s rich footballing history and, as expected, the media have been particularly scathing in their criticism of Roy Hodgson’s side.
Iceland pulled off one of the great shocks last night, dumping England out of Euro 2016 in Nice and forcing Hodgson to quit in disgrace.
And this morning’s front and back pages are predictably damning in their appraisal of the debacle.
