the table doesn't lie

Here's how you got on in week one of The42's Six Nations fantasy rugby league

Did your gutsy selections pay off or fail miserably?

WEEK ONE OF the Six Nations is over and while the players and coaches have all moved on to their next opponent I am going to dwell on last week’s action a little longer.

The42 started a league on FantasyRugger.com and we got over 350 entrants. We thought we would bring you a quick update so you know who occupies the top spots at the moment.

Callum Taylor’s ‘The Blues‘ leads the league with a whopping 143.19 points.

Second is Evan O’Sullivan’s ‘Evan United‘ with 138.37 while Jack Delahunt’s ‘Jacknumber6‘ is third with 136.64.

Rounding out the top 5 is ‘Matthew’s XV‘ with 129.50 and Simon Matthew’s ‘Yours Toulouse‘ with 128.40.

Unfortunately, no members of The42 team feature around the top of the table. Let it be said that I picked my team with an eye firmly on the World Cup. Here is how we got on…

75. Niall Kelly – Between a POC and a hard place

101. Sean Farrell – SF’s 42 6N XV

278. Will Slattery – The B Team

282. Steve O’Rourke – HarliNiallQuins

319. Adrian Russell – The Blah-Blahs

328. Murray Kinsella – The42′s Foot Soldiers

And it isn’t worth any points but these are three team names that deserve some recognition.

Clermont Aubergine – Davet Hyland

Inglorious Basterauds – James O’Brien

One night in Parisse – Angus Pickering
