Forget Paris: Here's how you can get a refund on that Stade de France ticket

“While the timelines are not ideal for supporters, we have pushed hard to get this undertaking from the French.”

IRELAND FANS WHO travelled to the Stade de France for the scheduled Six Nations game between Les Bleus and Ireland have until 23 February to claim ticket refunds.

The game was called off, of course, minutes before it was to kick-off at 8pm last Saturday in Paris.

The game is now slated for 4 March at 3pm.

“While the timelines are not ideal for supporters, we have pushed hard to get this undertaking from the French Federation to refund ticket costs for Irish supporters who are unable to attend the rescheduled match,” said Philip Browne, IRFU chief executive in a statement today.

“The team, and the IRFU, hugely appreciate the effort and expense Irish supporters went to in order to be at the match and we hope this gesture will go some way towards making up for the inconvenience they suffered.”
