Francesco Totti received a standing ovation when he came ON as a substitute tonight

The Roma fans really don’t want him to leave.

THERE HAVE BEEN lots of rumours suggesting Francesco Totti could on his way out of Roma this summer after a fall-out with manager Luciano Spalletti.

The 39-year-old has grown frustrated at a lack of playing time and has hinted at an incomprehensible move elsewhere.

But, in recent days, it has emerged that the club icon may be offered a contract extension at the end of the season though it remains to be seen if he’ll stick around.

Tonight, Roma swept aside Fiorentina and racked up a 4-1 win but in a stand-out moment, Totti was greeted with a standing ovation when he was introduced as a substitute.

The reception he received from the home fans was truly something special.
