Ciarán McDonald and a host of former GAA stars to play in Ulster v Rest of Ireland match

The teams will meet in charity game next week.

TWO STAR-STUDDED teams will face off in an Ulster versus the Rest of Ireland charity match next week.

As part of the Irish Open events, St Patrick’s Park in County Down is hosting the game on Monday, 25 May (7pm), with 17 Allstars from 20 counties taking part in aid of the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.

Managed by Sean O’Neill and James McCartan Jnr, big names such as Benny Coulter, Stevie McDonnell and Brendan McVeigh will represent Ulster while the Rest of Ireland, under the charge of Sean Boylan and John O’Mahony, have former stars like Ciarán McDonald, Barry Cahill, Padraic Joyce and dual-star Brendan Cummins.
