Here's this year's football league final and hurling semi-final pairings

It was a decisive day of outcomes around the country.

ANOTHER LEAGUE FINAL battle between Dublin and Kerry will take centre stage in Croke Park next weekend in the 2017 Allianz football league finals.

The pairings were confirmed after today’s final round of games in the Allianz football league with Galway and Kildare set to reprise today’s clash in Salthill in the Division 2 decider next Sunday.

While three Leinster counties – Louth, Westmeath and Wexford – are also heading to Croke Park along with last year’s All-Ireland semi-finalists Tipperary.

Football League Finals

Saturday 8 April

Division 3: Louth v Tipperary
Division 4: Westmeath v Wexford

Sunday 9 April

Division 1: Dublin v Kerry
Division 2: Galway v Kildare

At the other end of the table, six counties have suffered the drop in the football league after the spring action concluded.

Relegated
Division 1: Cavan and Roscommon
Division 2: Derry and Fermanagh
Division 3: Antrim and Laois

And the final four are now known for the hurling league semi-finals on 16 April.

Reigning All-Ireland champions Tipperary will be joined by three counties that were plying their trade in Division 1B this spring.
