'I'm looking to bring stability': Gary Neville met the players & oversaw Valencia training earlier

The new manager also spoke to his backroom staff and outlined his objectives.

GARY NEVILLE HAS wasted little time in getting to know his new surroundings.

The new Valencia manager was present at the the team’s training session this morning, introduced himself to the players and had a chat with his staff too.

On a video uploaded to the official club website , the 40-year-old can be seen observing his squad as they’re put through their paces by Neville’s younger brother Phil.

He can also be seen deep in discussion with Layhoon Chan – Valencia’s chairwoman.

Neville addressed his backroom team too, outlining some of his key objectives.

“I’m looking to bring stability, I’m looking to integrate the academy with the first team”, he tells his new colleagues.

It’s not known yet how much of an influence Neville will have on preparations for Valencia’s upcoming league clash with Barcelona on Saturday, as he doesn’t formally take up his new role until the following day.

Last night, his new employers came from behind to beat Barakaldo 3-1 in their Copa del Rey first-leg clash.
