Dublin Airport 'holding areas' outside terminal building to be used for early passengers if needed
DAA chief executive Dalton Philips says he does not expect the system to be needed this weekend.
The holding areas, which will include car parks, are a contingency measure that are not expected this weekend.
DAA CEO Dalton Philips said he had "a high level of confidence" that last week's lengthy queues won't be repeated.
He acknowledged however that some people may be forced to queue outside.
