PROMISING IRELAND U19 international Reece Grego-Cox is making his full Premier League debut for QPR at Leicester today.

The young London-born striker, who qualifies for Ireland through his grandparents, has already appeared three times as a sub for the Londoners, who will play in the Championship next season having been relegated.

And with a number of high-profile players expected to leave the club in the summer, Grego-Cox may get even more first-team opportunities next season.

From an Irish perspective, the youngster’s progress is particularly encouraging, with young up-and-coming strikers playing regularly at a high level currently few and far between in the national set-up.
