HE WORE THE number 42 and he changed baseball forever. Now Brooklyn Dodgers icon Jackie Robinson is set to hit the big screen in a new biopic early next year.
The first trailer for 42: The True Story of an American Legend surfaced this week. Pencilled in for an April 2013 release, it stars Chadwick Boseman as Robinson, the man who struck a blow for civil rights by breaking Major League Baseball’s colour barrier, and Harrison Ford as Dodgers GM Branch Rickey.
