JOSH MCCOWN’S FIRST official start with the Cleveland Browns has lasted just under a quarter, after the quarterback tried to get a little too adventurous.
McCown thought that he spotted a gap in the Jets defence from around 20 yards out, and took a speculative leap through the air attempting to cross the plain.
Unfortunately, McCown suffered a monstrous collision mid-air with a Jets player, fumbling to the ball and crashing to the ground.
It doesn’t get any better in slow motion.
McCown was taken to the locker room for treatment, meaning Johnny Manziel had to wait just under a quarter before coming into the game.
And he’s already throwing touchdown passes, with this 54 yarder to Travis Benjamin.
