JUDY REYNOLDS HAS finished 18th and achieved a personal best score of 75.696 along with horse Vancouver K in the Dressage Freestyle final today.

It represents a continuation of the Kildare native’s excellent recent progress, having been ranked as low as 144th in the world just over a year ago.

The Germany-based Irish athlete previously reached the final on Friday with a score of 74.090.

Reacting via Instagram, Reynolds said she was “absolutely delighted” and “very proud” of the result.

Meanwhile, Britain’s Charlotte Dujardin won gold with a score of 93.857, while German duo Isabell Werth and Kristina Broring-Sprehe took silver and bronze respectively.
