Five changes to Kerry U21 football team to take on Cork in Munster final

The side features six of the starting XV that lost to the Rebels in last year’s semi-final.

THERE ARE FIVE changes to the Kerry side that will face Cork tomororw night in the EirGrid Munster U21 football final at Austin Stack Park.

Jason Foley replaces Cathal Ó Lúing at full back following the semi-final defeat of Limerick, while Matthew Flaherty takes the place of the injured Brian Sugrue at half back.

Mark O’Connor replaces Matthew O’Sullivan, who is also out injured, at centre field, while Eánna  Ó Conchúir comes in for David Foran in the half forward line.

In addition, Dara Roche replaces Tony Brosnan at full forward, while the team features six of the side that lost to Cork in last year’s semi-final – Brian Ó Beaglaoich, Matthew Flaherty, Barry O’Sullivan, Micheál Burns, Dara Roche and Jack Savage.

Kerry are bidding to win their first title since claiming All-Ireland U21 glory in 2008.

Cork have also named their team for the encounter.
