Shefflin starts as Kilkenny change five for league semi v Galway

Michael Fennelly will make his first start of the season in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.

HENRY SHEFFLIN HAS been named at corner-forward for Kilkenny’s National Hurling League semi-final against Galway.

Shefflin, who came off the bench for the final 12 minutes against Wexford, returns as one of five changes to the Cats’ lineup for Sunday.

Brian Kennedy gets the nod at corner-back in place of Joey Holden while Padraig Walsh and Brian Hogan start in the half-back line.

Michael Fennelly makes his first start of the season in midfield while John Power is preferred to brother Richie in the full-forward line.

Throw-in at the Gaelic Grounds is at 2pm.
